Bermuda Triangle Taper Floating
Line up with exciting Bermuda Triangle Taper floating fly line. Built to withstand the wilting heat of tropical flats and blistering decks, this line will continue to cast like a rocket when the others have folded up. That’s because we build it around a special 16 strand braided monofilament core that stays stiff to deliver blazing casts – even in blazing heat. The finish is also harder and slicker than our regular saltwater lines, with a slightly bumpy texture that helps facilitate longer casts. Features a tip that can be customized. The lighter, neutral tropic blue color “disappears” into the sea and sky for added stealth. Works best above 70 degrees fahrenheit but can also be used at lower temperatures. 105’ length, with a 30’ taper, and a 75’ running line.
Welded loops on sizes 6, 7, 8, 9. J3 coating only on floating line.

Flies farther – Floats higher – Lasts longer
Triangle Taper fly lines just got better! J3 coating makes Triangle Tapers perform like never before: Shooting better, floating higher, repelling water, and lasting longer. This slick coating has a dry feel, which minimizes resistance for longer casts. With J3, the line stays clean and slick for the life of the line! That’s because J3 isn’t simply a spray that’s applied at the factory – it’s a specialized coating that’s actually integrated into the line itself, giving it years of super-slick performance! Available on select royal Wulff lines.
It’s an iconic image that's featured amidst many people’s Northern cabin decor: a fishing lure featuring feathery tufts that represent the wings of an insect.
