Why Royal Wulff fly lines?

  • Our lines offer the perfect combination of delicate presentation plus the ability to shoot line for a long cast. I like having the option of cutting back the tip of the line (for better turnover with heavier/more air resistant flies) and not ruining the front taper.

What's your favorite Royal Wulff fly line and why?

  • I often use a Spey rod when I'm fishing for trout in a river. I like the Ambush Short because of the small diameter integrated shooting line and the head that is 15 to 16 feet in length. I feel that the length is perfect for most of the fishing situations I encounter. Too short of a head (10 or 11 feet) and I worry about pulling my anchor, too long of a head  22 feet or more) and I give up fishing in tight spots.
